Carlos Augusto Inocente Filho, better known as “Guto Inocente” (6-0 picture) is the newest Brazilian athlete to sign with the UFC, according to Tatame. The light-heavyweight is another name that went to UFC after Strikeforce ended. The contract signing of Brazilian should still be held this week.
With six wins and no losses in his career, the former Shooto Brazil champion has only 26 years old and is a Blackzilians member, training with fighters like Alistair Overeem, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort and others.
With two knockouts, three submissions and a unanimous decision victory over the veteran Virgil Zwicker in his career, Guto is a promise in the UFC and should debut soon against another fighter from his level. The former kickboxer is known for his powerful kicks and complete striking game which dictated all of the six fights in his career.
Currently recovering from a surgery, Guto has no date to return and did his first training of the year only on January 19th.
