TUF Brazil 2 almost done: Minotauro x Werdum

It was reported today that Antônio Rodrigo  ”Minotauro” Nogueira and Fabrício Werdum already made a verbal agreement to be the  TUF Brazil 2 coaches.

Sources close to the fighters confirmed the settlement between them . The shooting of the show are scheduled to begin in January, and the program will begin running in March 2013.

There was a lot of speculation on who would be the coaches and most fans believed it would Maurício Shogun and Lyoto Machida, who probably would meet for the third time after the reality.

Both have participated in past editions of  TUF. Big Nog was the coach of the TUF 8 against Frank Mir, while Werdum was the Jiu Jitsu coach of team Wanderlei Silva in TUF Brazil 1.

The two fighters have met once in 2006 in PRIDE with Nogueira coming out with the win via decision. Both made their last fights at Brazil. Werdum knocked Mike Russow at UFC 147 in Belo Horizonte, while Minotaur submitted Dave Herman at UFC 153 in Rio de Janeiro.
